Business Development – we want your custom
Kavia Moulded Products is devoted to being at the forefront of new trends in engineering and injection moulding. The following demonstrates our capabilities understanding and serving our prospective customers whether an inventor, designer, buyer or distributor.
Areas of Development
Got an Idea? Inventors and Kavia
Your Kavia team have a track record of creating or supporting a number of patent applications. Established in 1979, the operational and manufacturing team has considerable experience and have brought many inventions to production. The team’s extensive experience benefits our customers from a very early stage of an idea: we can guide, advise and help you overcome whatever engineering challenges are particular to your product. We have great design partners and the ability to sub-assemble your product ready for dispatch – don’t assume that offshore manufacturing is the most cost-effective solution. We may be even to help connect you to new sales channels through our extensive industry contacts.
Whether you work in a design consultancy, an in-house design department or freelance, Kavia can support your design project at whatever stage you wish to engage us. If you design in CAD, we can interrogate designs using edrawings on the iPad or STEP files on the laptop – to make a component enquiry, go to the ‘Contact’ section of the website and select ‘Component enquiry’. Helping buyers achieve cost-effective solutions
According to Kavia’s customers and their buyers, our greatest strength is our ability to provide good service and quality products at a competitive price. More than half the Kavia team has been with the company for at least 15 years, and the team’s experience is a key factor in this great reputation. Buyers looking to rationalise their purchasing structure for cost savings whilst simultaneously trying to gain added value and innovation from the supply chain know that this inevitably means dealing with a new supplier. This can be an immensely stressful period, and here Kavia’s extensive track record in tool transfer projects is a great advantage. The team makes it a policy to provide unprompted solutions for added value and innovation, helping buyers achieve cost effective solutions.
Developing distributor channels
Kavia is already producing components for the rail and tram track industry; we are very keen to expand this sector and are looking to develop relationships with key distributors in this sector. Our rail and tram components (www.kavia.info/rail) has details of our current products; as a manufacturing partner we are keen to support our distributors, adding value with flexible manufacturing solutions and collaborating on new product development. For our ferrule and bush range we have a dedicated easy to use configurator you can enter your requirements online. www.ferruleandbush.info Kavia is also developing new products for the rowing/sculling and kayak/canoe sectors, with small and lightweight components that allow high quantities for small box volumes. Neaves Rowing Services is our UK and Northern Ireland distributor and we are now seeking distributors outside the UK.
